Gyro Forest is part of the various wilderness areas that make up the majority of the island. The forest is made up of fairly large trees, however, very large windmills completely tower over the trees. In other words, it's not just a forest of trees, but a forest of windmills.

It is also quite important to note the difference of elevation in the area. The forest sits up on various hills, making it an ideal location for the windmill farm. It also makes the forest a breeding ground for flying type, bug type and grass type pokemon.

Sub-board: Abandonned Powerplant

Jade Plains is a large area North of Gyro Forest and is completely covered by grass, both tall and short. In every direction, there is nothing but grass and hills that gently dot the landscape. However, there is a fairly large plateau in the middle of the plains, which is quite hard to scale. There are several small creeks that branch out across the plains, remnants of Iris River. Because of the lush environment and abundance of water, many types of pokemon come here to graze and live.

Sub-board: Rosewood Plateau

Lake Eden is a crystal clear lake located dead center of the entire island. The lake itself is huge, taking up a decent chunk of the island and basically cutting the island in half. The lake itself is fairly deep and spans across three square miles in total. Various types of water pokemon reside here, most notably Gyarados which plague unskilled trainers who attempt to cross it. Surf is Required.

Sub-boards: Topaz Town, Eden Ferry

Mt. Cobalt is a giant mountain located to the North of Lake Eden. Its habitat is quite lush. There are plenty of plants all along the sides of the mountain and a wide variety of wild pokemon to meet and capture.
