mr takeuchi and mrs takeuchi were high school sweet hearts, love at first sight if you dare say. mrs takeuchi was a fantastic artist, she loved drawing her husband's pokemon. her husband was a breeder, a lovely breeder. a few years after their lovely, white wedding they were blessed with four children, dimple, alex, chiyo and young hanari.

chiyo was the second youngest, she loved her family and their pokemon, although she was picked on by the eldest, dimple. dimple was a pre-madonna, she needed everything. chiyo's schooling years were hell. she was always compared with her, successful sister dimple. chiyo's life became much more enjoyable once dimple left home to become a top coordinator. that left alex, chiyo and hanari left. alex was the only boy, his siblings were girls. he soon became very protective of chiyo and hanari. chiyo continued her high school years, loving the freedom away from dimple. the takeuchi family soon lost all contact with their eldest child. dimple was no where. chiyo shortly forgot about her rude sister and kept living her life.

alex ran away on chiyo's fourteenth birthday. all he left was a note, a pokeball and a locet with a picture of alex and chiyo inside on chiyo's bed. the note was an apology note, saying sorry but he had to leave. after losing another child, mr and mrs takeuchi shut chiyo and hanari up in their house. chiyo never opened the pokeball that alex left for her, well up until her sixteenth birthday, two years after. her parents hated the idea of chiyo leaving home to become a trainer, so they locked her up in her room. chiyo cried for many hours that night. she packed her bag with the necessaries and left with alex's pokeball. she left a note, just as her older brother did, on her bed for her parents.

she left for her journey, never to look back. she shortly discovered her brother's pokemon was an absol. she started her journey with a delcatty and an absol. many battles were won and lost.

on chiyo's sixteenth birthday her parent's finally contacted her. they ranted on and on about how much they missed her and that she should come home. chiyo of course ignored their pleads. the conversation went on and on. her parents couldn't persuade their little girl to come home, nothing could change chiyo's mind. nothing. so chiyo is still wondering the heonn region on her own...
