The boy had been making his paces across the island he had to find those star pins if he wanted even a shot of getting close to Red and Blue, not to mention Silver had to be somewhere here as well. Ven still was not sure what exactly happened those long past times but he wanted answers. Answers to why his family lost everything, why his mother was dead, why his father just ran. What could have caused all these problems. One of those three had to have the answers he was looking for. Ven would do anything that he could to get a face to face interaction with one of them.
Sometimes Ven thinks it would just be easier if he let Oblivion took over, this darker personality living inside of Ven. Hell, he had gotten them this far into this island and these people of interest. Ven just wished Oblivion could do his thing while Ven was conscious. But, he supposed that's why he had a split personality. It was like he literally had two people living inside of him and had to get by. Between the two of them they would make the needed sacrifices.
Ven reached Mt. Cobalt a fantastic place. He was here for a specific purpose he heard certain type of pokemon were found in the area and if he was lucky he might be able to snag one. One in particular stood out so he may have to spend some time searching. The boy took a long stretch and continued his walk. Looks like he'd be plugging some time and miles into this search.

Machop was lifting boulders around the trail. Waiting for a pokemon to fight. He wanted to test his skill out and see where he stood against other pokemon. Ven was deep in his own thought while looking around and was rather taken back by the pokemon that decided to pop out of no where. It wasn't exactly what he was looking for but he would be stupid to pass up an opportunity like this. Plus it would give him one of his three favorites a nice bout. "Not, what I'm looking for but if you're looking to fight I'll give you one." Ven said throwing his pokeball into the air. There was a blinding white light and from the light formed:  Espeonfemale | mild | synchronize psybeam | swift | morning sun | future sight | psychic | attack six During his travels and down on money Ven started a small breeding and care service. One of his first customers brought a restless Eevee that seemed to have problems with her trainer. The customer asked him to care for the Eevee as it would not like being handled by anyone including the trainer. Ven worked with the Eevee though difficult at first they came to what seemed to be an understanding. Through training and beginning stages of breeding techniques the Eevee evolved in the early morning. when the trainer came back for the pokemon he was surprised to find an evolution but because of the friendly evolve decided to give Ven payment by giving him the newly formed psychic type. Espeon looked straight ahead a sound was not made from it. "Espeon, we've got a challenge to face let's go!" The psychic type let out a sound "meeeeeep." As if a response to her trainer. "Espeon, future sight."Her eyes began to glow bright and the red jewel on her forehead also began to glow. She was seeing a vision from the future and projecting it to the present. It would take one turn, to happen. |

Machop started to run forward as soon as it saw a pokemon appear in front of it. It brought its arm up and used Karate Chop on its body. |

The karate chop made contact, it was obvious that Machop was quite strong. Espeon was shook up, she was out of her vision and knocked on the ground. Getting up from the hard ground beneath her, she shook herself off. "Espeon, push it back with psybeam."Espeon's jewel on her forehead glowed brightly "MEEEE!" she cried as she released a multicolored beam at Machop. |

Machop smiled when it made contact, but tilted its head once it saw the jewel on its head glow. It was soon pushed back as the attack hit. It slowly got up, gritting its teeth. It ran back towards the car like pokemon and did a low sweep at its legs. |

He didn't have any means to change a status for Machop and would have to rely on fainting alone. This also meant keeping Espeon well taken for this challenge. He knew the future sight attack would be entering the present shortly but he and Espeon still had to buy some more time before it would occur. It was then that he saw the Machop attack quite fast. "Espeon!" It was too late she was tripped by the powerful legs of the fighting pokemon. Landing on the ground she stayed injured. "Morning Sun, now!" he looked up it wouldn't be a perfect recovery but it would do well, they were still somewhere in the morning light. The pokemon began to glow brighly with a ray of sun hitting her body before rising again her injuries gone. "Espeon on your guard, start trying to sense its moves we just have to hold out a little longer." |
