The Auburn Island Tournament is the first large Pokemon League in years, as in such an unstable world, not many could afford to house so many trainers at once in order to facilitate the battles. It is unknown who the masterminds of the tournament are, but many anxious trainers were excited to receive an invitation to be competitive with their pokemon once again. And what's more, the winner of the tournament will not only receive ¥10,000,000, but also ______.
Every trainer invited to participate was allowed to bring up to three of their pokemon with them. All other Pokemon must be captured on the island itself.
Objective:
A number of small star pins have been scattered all around the Auburn Island and in all kinds of environments. In order to make the cut for the tournament, a trainer must attain a total of 10 stars. Once a trainer has gathered 10 or more stars, he or she may return them to the PokeCenter in Byzantium City in order to be registered into the tournament. It should be mentioned that upon entry into the tournament, each trainer is given one star to start with.
How to Earn Star Pins:- Quests: The first way to gain stars is through questing. The star pins have been scattered across the Island and its environments so, though rare, they can be found virtually anywhere. The star pins themselves are shiny objects, so wild pokemon tend to take a liking to them and occasionally hold onto them. Aside from this, finding a star is a serendipity.
- Friendly Battle: Trainers may agree to wager some number their stars in a standard Pokemon battle. Friendly battles are usually single one-on-one pokemon battles where each trainer only uses a single pokemon. Friendly battles are based on the honors system. If a trainer loses, he or she should meet whatever the wager was, but it will not be enforced.
- Guerilla Battles: Some trainers may attempt to take stars away from other trainers by beating them into submission in a brutal Pokemon Battle. In this case, rules for combat are often abandoned and disgarded. Once a trainer's Pokemon have been defeated, they will be left defenseless and their stars may be looted.
- Thieves: There will also be people in this kind of tournament who hope to steal star pins by more underhanded and less obvious methods. These include seduction, scamming, and thievery.
- Purchasing: Star pins may also be bought at the Pokemart at incredibly high prices.
Rules:- Stealing another trainer's Pokemon is against the rules and will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
- All trainers MUST remain on Auburn Island for the duration of the tournament. Leaving the island will result in immediate disqualification.
- All trainers may only carry six pokemon at any given time. Extra Pokemon are to be left at the PokeCenter's storage for safekeeping.
- Battling inside of Pokecenters is forbidden and will result in the immediate disqualification of a trainer.
