Crystal had been wandered for a long time now. Her feet where hurting thanks to the long and rather slow walk through the grass-covered path of the forest. She looked around just to find trees and bushes, nowhere to go. She sat down in a half-cut tree bark. She looked at her bag, Smooch, her Smoochum, was having a great time inside eating and drinking the water supplies. She simply sighted and petted the little Pokémon. It was a baby after all. Crystal’s fingers moved alongside the bark of the tree where she had decided to sit.
She had come all the way to the forest to fight and even catch some Pokémon. She wasn’t searching a bulky Pokémon at all. She was fonder of the little less menacing ones. That didn’t mean that she was running around with millions of little pink baby Pokémon, she was not that girly. She looked around again. Not a single Pokémon nearby.
She kept petting Smooch until she finally though she heard some crawling. She took Smooch out of the bag carefully and moved her to the floor whispering.
“Something must be hidden nearby pay attention!”
She received a nod from the baby Pokémon.

Crystal looked at the nearby bushes. Her hand clenching into a fist as she bitted her lower lip. Smooch rocked her head back and forth as she gave jumps in her place. Crystal was ready, by the look of the shaking bushes the Pokémon should be incredibly big. She was worried she could not take the Pokémon out by herself. She concentrated herself on the bush rather than in the approaching battle…
“Weedle…Weedlee…” The yellow worm said as it came out from its hiding place.
Crystal stared for a minute. She was eye-to-eye with a Weedle. She moved a hand to her forehead as she laughed softly.
“O-Oh I thought it was something bigger ….anyways…” she said as she leaned to make eye contact with the worm.
“H-Hi little one…!” she started as she then saw the Pokémon hissing and moving its horn.
“O-Oh…y-you are not f-friendly then?” she said backing off slowly.
“U-um…ermmm… Smooch use P-Psychic .” she said as she stared at the worm. It would probably fall with the hit as it didn’t look strong at all.

Weedle flew back as the attack hit. The bug pokemon started to cry but then would follow up with an attack of its own. She shot a needle out of its tail and using poison shot.

The Smoochum was hurt and startled. Tears started to form in her eyes. Crystal cleaned the little baby with her hand and gave a reassuring nod. The baby stopped the crying and shacked some dirt. After repeating her name a couple of times and sighting she was up again, but her body was hurting.
“Everything will be alright…” she said petting the little baby. She mentally thanked the fact that she was not poisoned. The little baby glared at the yellow worm and gave a quick look to its horn. Rocking her head back and for the she walked an step forward showing that she wanted to keep fighting.
Crystal blinked a couple of times and stood nodding at the Smoochum. She pointed the worm shyly and quickly shouted a command:
“Use Blizzard!” she shouted. The little baby Pokémon nodded and jumped high in the air. Her pained body could still fight back. The little baby started to spin uncontrollably , from her body a cold mist started to erupt.

Weedle took the two hits and was done for, crashing into the bushes with swirly eyes, fainted.

“Use Ice beam Smooch!” she commanded looking at the little bug. She moved her hat, adjusting it at the right point. She smiled as she saw Smoochum spinning and then forming a ball of ice in front of her mouth. From the ball beams started to erupt towards the little worm-like Pokémon.
Crystal just waited patiently.
