Let the fun begin! (encounter)

The tournament had started. Sapphire was gone by the time he woke up. No note no nothing. Oh well. He needed more pokemon. and more star pins. well, he'd hunt for a Pikachu and for a star pin all at once. He'd get at least one star pin on his own. Thats all he could hope for. All he would hope for.

"here pikachu...."

"Pika-pika!" Pikachu was ecstatic. He shook a glowing yellow ball in both hands. He had been searching for food left by the powerplant workers when he stumbled upon "the shiny." Curious Pikachu had picked up the tiny ball and when he did he was immediately jolted with a surge of electricity. At first it hurt, but the pain passed and afterward Pikachu never felt better. The ball charged him with immense power. He felt amazing.

Pikachu clutched "his shiny" close to his chest. No one could have it! Not even this human that came walking down the hall calling out "Here pikachu...." Sparks flew from Pikchu's cheeks at an alarming rate.

"Pikaaa!" he challenged the human to dare take "his shiny."


[Pretty lucky dude, wild Pikachus have a 5% chance of having a Lightball (2x's attack and SPC attack for pikachus.) So I rolled a 100 die, and I got a 3. It's an awesome item.]

Ruby was on a Pikachu hunt. Yes, a Pikachu hunt. He wanted one. He wanted one to be on his team. To fight side by side with him. He knew exactly what pokemon he'd use to fight it to. Zuzu. He was a perfect match for the little pokemon... considering he was immune to electric type attacks and all.

Suddenly a Pikachu walked out in front of him, clutching an object. Wait a minuet... he knew that item... it was a lightball! Awesome! "Pikaaa!" A smile came across the boy's face, noticing the challenge in the little lightning mouse's eyes. "Regardless of the effects of time, the toughness that this body encompasses never changes. Boiling with raging Torrent, this is the Pokémon Swampert—Zuzu!"

With a deafening roar Zuzu announced himself to the world. "Zuzu! Use Earthquake!" Less than two seconds later the ground beneath them all rumbled.

ZUZU USED EARTHQUAKE!

Pikachu only glared as a monstrous creature seemed to magically appear before him and let out a mighty roar. "Pi," the electric rodent soberly acknowledged his opponent and clutching his "shiny" in his mouth dropped down on all fours. Then the human began to shout and the massive blue Pokemon began to move.

But Pikachu was much faster.

The "shiny" sparked out radically as Pikachu launched from his spot on the ground directly at the human's Pokemon. His body was nearly invisible as he performed quick attack only to reappear striking "Zuzu" just under his chin. The "shiny" empowered Pikachu's attack making it twice as strong.

The yellow rodent ricocheted off of Zuzu landing on a ledge high up in the power plant corridor. However, just as he was getting ready fro another attack, the ground began to shake violently. Pikachu was knocked from his perch and thrown back to the ground causing him to hit the ground. "Chuu!" Pikachu cried out from the blow, yet he held onto his "shiny."

Pikachu quickly got back onto his feet. He wasn't going to lose. He was faster and he had the "shiny." Pressing his feet against the floor Pikachu vanished in a blur of yellow. Stressing his strength in movement he performed agility. He could be heard bouncing off various walls and the ceiling above. Glimpsed of Pikachu could be seen as he hit surfaces above and around Zuzu. If he kept moving Zuzu would have a much harder time hitting him.

The shiny sparked again; it ready to help its owner once more.

[So I went twice in this post for I deemed Pikachu's speed to be greater than Swampert's. Thus I changed the order of attacks from:
Swampert (earthquake)
Pikachu
Swampert

to

Pikachu (quick attack)
Swampert (earthquake
Pikachu (agility)

From here on out it should be even 1 attack post.]
